Impressions

Four paintings in different styles.

The first two paintings are impressionistic. The first was made by shining a filtered light directly onto the canvas and then attempting to transpose the effect as accurately as possible with paint, so that an impression was left.

The second is a more traditional still life, lit with filtered light.

The third painting is gestural, placing emphasis on the choreography of the painter's hand.
